10 Most Meaningful Images of 2018: #4

Tony Baldasaro December 27, 2018

Okay, I’m cheating on this one. This image was captured moments before image #5 on this list, but there’s a reason why I am including it.

If yesterday’s image was on my bucket list, this image is my favorite of the group I made that day. The morning this all happened was one of the most amazing mornings I have ever seen. For a good 20 minutes the sky was on fire, and since the water was so calm, it acted like a mirror, essentially lighting it on fire as well. Add in the rising mist from the “warmer” lake water, and a surreal, magical scene erupted.

For twenty minutes I ran from one location to another along Meredith Harbor capturing the as much of the scene as I could. By the time the sun rose and the color waned, I had 6 “keepers”, including the two that I have shared over the past two posts. Because this is my favorite of the group I have chosen to add this image to my top ten most meaningful posts of the year.

In top 10, image Tags lake winnipesaukee, sunrise, image, photography, reflection, top10
